LauraLynn Cheque Presentation

PFA Ireland were delighted to officially present a cheque for €10,045.61 to Laura Lynn.

Dan Carr of Shamrock Rovers and Paul Skinner of Drogheda United were on hand to present the cheque to Claire Shiels, Corporate Fundraiser at LauraLynn. The money was raised on the back of fundraising efforts from the annual 5K FAI Cup Final run and from a draw which took place at our annual awards dinner.

Stephen McGuinness, PFA Ireland General Secretary, stated "We want to put on record our thanks to all the players and everyone else who got involved in the fundraising efforts and we are thrilled to have broken the €10,000 mark which was the aim from the start. Thanks to everyone at LauraLynn too, they were a pleasure to deal with and having visited LauraLynn on a couple of occasions and seeing the work they do first hand we know that the monies raised are going to be hugely beneficial.”

Claire Shiels of LauraLynn commented,"These funds will have a really positive impact at LauraLynn. We are hugely reliant on support like this and cannot provide our services to the children and families who need us without it. Thank you to the PFA Ireland members and all involved for your amazing fundraising and the fun we had with you!
