Joma Sport 3 Year Boot Deal
PFA Ireland is delighted to announce a 3 year partnership with Joma Sport. The official launch was held on Thursday 25th August 2016 at the PFA Ireland HQ in Abbotstown, Dublin.
Under the agreement, Joma through PFA Ireland, will provide all registered PFA Ireland players with Pro category Joma football boots for each season of the 3-year term. Joma's deal will also incorporate sponsorship of one of the awards at our annual awards dinner this year which will be held in The Marker Hotel, Dublin on Saturday, October 29.
The boots selected by PFA Ireland for the 1st season of the partnership include The Joma PROPULSION LITE which weighing just 160g is the lightest boot that Joma have ever produced, using a microfiber upper and 1-piece outsole with combined heel counter, The Joma N10-PRO which has an ultra-light microfiber upper with a uniquely designed outsole to provide protection and the Joma CHAMPION which is an ultra-lightweight synthetic boot designed to meet the comfort and support demanded by Pro players.
PFA Ireland General Secretary, Stephen McGuinness said,"We are delighted to have an agreement with Joma Sport and it's something we have been pursuing over the last number of years. There is a perception out there that professional players are given boots for free but the reality is far from that. This deal allows us to supply all our members with top quality footwear over the next 3 years which can only be beneficial for our players and our association.
