Stephen McGuinness, PFA Ireland General Secretary, commented,”We wish Mark and the squad well as they travel to Germany for this prestigious tournament. We are delighted to help out in any way we can and this squad is a great way of keeping the players involved in the game once they finish their professional careers. We see too many drift away from the game once they finish but the hope is that this trend can be reversed and projects like this can only help!”
